The focus of my practice for the last 40 years has been Family Law. In addition to my litigation practice I served as substitute Judge in the district court system and as a Judge Pro Tempore in the circuit court system. However, since I discovered the Collaborative Process, I am focusing my practice on helping families to restructure by using this client centered process. I am also, very proud to have been a founding member of CPTI, LLC, Collaborative Practice Training Institute, a group of collaborative professionals whose mission is to train other professionals in the Collaborative Process.

Collaborative Services

Over the years we have learned from the experiences of divorcing couples, parents trying to raise children in separate households, and from the people who are divorcing now who are children of divorce. These lessons learned, tell us that there are aspects of divorce which are unique to that process that require a different approach. One of the best ways that individuals can reshape their families and/or determine how to co-parent their children is to use the Collaborative process. A process that places strong emphasis on creating value in the problem solving process, maintaining parties' dignity, and focusing on the long term relationships that inherently must survive.
