I have devoted my career as a family therapist to help families go through the process of divorce and post divorce in the least damaging and most healthy way possible. Collaborating with a team during the most painful life events can help to insure a future with less conflict. The Collaborative Team approach meets the needs of both parents and children. Conflicts around the future survival of the family financially and emotionally can be reduced significantly. Many studies show that low conflict families fare better emotionally than those with a high level of conflict. The interaction within the team of attorneys with the help of mental health professionals increase the likelihood of more healthy outcomes for the entire family. I believe in empowering parents with tools to be able to work together to evaluate and plan in the best interest of their children in the least conflictual way.
