I help families and individuals safely navigate life's most difficult transitions. As an active collaborative practitioner, I am dedicated to helping clients, their spouses, and their children respectfully resolve their issues in a client controlled and safe environment. In each case, we work together to help reduce the stress associated with the traditional divorce model, and seek to promote better communication and family relationships.
Together with two other practitioners, I was one of the first trained collaborative attorneys in Virginia (2002) and have sponsored trainings to expand collaborative practice in Virginia. I have practiced in various collaborative models, most recently with the full interdisciplinary team that I believe provides famlies the full support they need to make the smoothest transition possible through the divorce process. I recently trained to become a trainer in the collaborative divorce model, and look forward to teaching and mentoring new collaborative professionals.
